In a remarkable step toward innovation and academic excellence, Chandigarh University, Uttar Pradesh, has secured a prestigious Certificate of Registration of Design from the Patent Office, Government of India. The registered design is entitled to a pioneering invention titled “Predictive Analytics-Based Options Trading Processing Apparatus”, under Design No. 450222-001, dated March 3, 2025.
This development reflects the university’s commitment to adding research with real-world technological applications. The recognition was conferred under Class 14-02, which pertains to data processing equipment, signaling the potential of this design in the fields of financial analytics and intelligent trading systems.
This achievement marks another milestone for Chandigarh University Uttar Pradesh, in reinforcing its role as a center for innovation and forward-thinking research. Registered under the name of Chandigarh University Uttar Pradesh, Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Kumar Yadav, Registrar of the university, Prof. (Dr.) Alka Singh, a senior faculty member in the School of Business and Commerce, and Dr. Uma Shankar Yadav, Assistant Professor in the same faculty, have collaborated efforts behind this landmark, which is highly commendable and appreciated.
This recognition under the Designs Act, 2000, and the Designs Rules, 2001, positions the university as a contributor to India’s intellectual property and fintech landscape.
