Chandigarh University, Uttar Pradesh, hosted PRAGYAA 2025 - The Principals’ Conclave, a remarkable gathering of visionary educators and academic leaders that celebrated collaboration, innovation, and the future of AI-driven learning. The conclave brought together principals and education experts from leading institutions, creating a platform to discuss transformative approaches to education in the 21st century.
The event commenced with an insightful Opening Address by Prof. (Dr.) T. P. Singh , Pro Vice Chancellor, CU-UP, who extended a warm welcome to the distinguished guests - Prof. (Dr.) Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit , Vice Chancellor, JNU (Chief Guest), Dr. Rishi Mohan Bhatnagar (Guest of Honour), and principals from reputed schools, including City Montessori School, Chitra International School, Air Force School, Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, St. Xavier’s, Red Rose School, RPS GAURAV INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, RDS Group Of Schools, Surya Sainik School, Indus Valley Public School, Skylark World School, Lucknow, Diamond Public Sr. Secondary School, Integral International School among many others.
In his address, Prof. (Dr.) T. P. Singh highlighted the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Chancellor, Sardar Shri Satnam Singh Sandhu Ji, emphasizing that the very foundation of the CU-UP campus rests on the idea of becoming an AI-augmented institution. He stated, “With something very thoughtfully curated by our visionary Chancellor, the fundamental idea and the very root of founding this campus lies in its vision to be an AI-augmented campus.”
Following the welcome session, the Formal Inauguration was conducted by Prof. (Dr.) Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit, who praised the university’s futuristic outlook, remarked, “It’s a lovely campus - a lot of things here are truly impressive.” Her words reflected admiration for the university’s commitment to blending technological innovation with educational excellence.
Adding to the depth of discussion, Dr. Rishi Mohan Bhatnagar shared profound insights on the rapid evolution of Artificial Intelligence and its growing role in the education sector. He noted, “The first revolution took 11,000 years, the second less than 200 years, and the third less than 25 years. That means the human brain is maturing much faster and needs to see how we can help our students get into human intelligence and not become slaves of our own creation.”
The conclave emerged as a dynamic forum for exchanging ideas, encouraging educators to reimagine the future of teaching and learning through the integration of AI, EdTech, and human-centered innovation. It underscored the importance of nurturing future-ready students who can lead with intelligence, creativity, and compassion.
